The Role
As a Data Analytics Engineer, you will build and maintain the analytics foundation that powers operational, product, and executive reporting.
You will transform CRM, support, and operational data into reliable datasets and Tableau dashboards used by leadership for decision-making. The role focuses on analytics engineering, data modeling, and reporting within an established AWS, Redshift, and Databricks environment.
Your work will ensure accurate, scalable, and trusted data across business reviews, performance reporting, and analytics initiatives.
What You’ll Do:
Analytics & Reporting- Develop and maintain advanced Tableau dashboards and executive reports
- Define and standardize KPIs and reporting logic
- Deliver dashboards supporting operational reviews and leadership reporting
- Maintain a single source of truth across analytics assets
- Build analytics-ready data models in Redshift and Databricks
- Perform ELT/ETL transformations using SQL and Python (Pandas)
- Integrate data from Salesforce, Zendesk, and internal operational systems
- Optimize queries and datasets for performance and scalability
- Maintain structured data layers (raw → curated → analytics-ready)
Data Reliability & Quality
- Monitor data pipelines and scheduled refreshes
- Troubleshoot data inconsistencies and pipeline issues
- Implement validation checks and ensure metric consistency
- Maintain documentation for datasets, metrics, and transformations
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Translate business requirements into scalable analytics solutions
- Support ad-hoc analysis using trusted datasets
- Partner with operational and leadership teams to deliver actionable insights
What We Expect From You:
Required Experience
- 4–6 years of experience in data analytics engineering, BI, or data platform environments
- Experience supporting analytics and reporting in data-driven organizations
Core Technical Skills (Non-Negotiable)
- Advanced SQL scripting for transformation and optimization
- Python automation (Pandas or similar libraries)
- Experience with modern data warehouse environments
- Cloud data experience, preferably AWS (Redshift, S3, Lambda)
- Strong Tableau dashboard development experience
Analytics Engineering Expertise
- Data modeling and dimensional modeling for reporting
- KPI and metric layer design
- ELT/ETL across multiple data sources
- Query optimization and warehouse performance tuning
Nice to Have
- Salesforce or CRM analytics experience
- Databricks exposure
- Airflow or similar orchestration tools
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality practices
- Familiarity with GCP/BigQuery
Preferred Background
- Experience in BPO or operational analytics environments, including:
- Workforce management analytics
- Operational performance reporting
- Supply chain or service delivery analytics
- Experience in SaaS, digital platforms, EdTech, or subscription-based businesses is a strong advantage
