The Role

As a Customer Support Specialist, you’ll be on the front lines of our growth efforts. Your primary focus will be generating qualified meetings and opportunities by identifying, engaging, and booking conversations with decision-makers at organizations that need our partner's services.

You’ll work closely with our sales leadership and Account Executives to build pipelines, qualify prospects, and ensure a smooth handoff once opportunities are created. This is a high-impact role for someone who loves outbound sales, enjoys the challenge of breaking into new accounts, and is motivated by measurable results.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead Qualification
    • Engage prospects to understand their IT asset disposition process, pain points, compliance needs, and sustainability initiatives.
    • Qualify inbound and outbound leads using key criteria (volume, timeline, current provider, compliance requirements, and buying process).
    • Confirm next steps and schedule discovery calls with the appropriate sales team member.
  • Messaging & Value Communication
    • Clearly communicate our Partner's value: secure data handling, compliance-driven processes, sustainability, and asset recovery.
    • Tailor outreach messaging based on the prospect’s industry, role, and challenges.
    • Handle early-stage objections and keep conversations moving forward.
  • Meeting Setting & Opportunity Creation
    • Consistently book qualified meetings with decision-makers.
    • Maintain high-quality handoffs to Account Managers, ensuring all key details are captured.
    • Support the sales cycle by staying involved as needed to keep opportunities progressing.
  • CRM & Activity Tracking
    • Accurately log outreach activity, lead status, and next steps in HubSpot.
    • Maintain clean pipeline data to support forecasting and reporting.
  • Collaboration
    • Work closely with sales leadership to align messaging and improve lead flow.
    • Share feedback on what’s working in outreach and where messaging can be refined.
    • Participate in team training, coaching, and continuous improvement.
  • Pipeline Generation
    • Build a steady pipeline through outbound activity including cold calls and emails.
