The Role

As a Safety & Compliance Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in protecting and maintaining a safe, respectful, and trustworthy online community. You’ll handle user reports and inquiries primarily through email, making thoughtful, fair, and consistent decisions that directly impact user safety.

This role goes beyond traditional support—it’s about safeguarding people. You’ll review reports related to safety concerns, policy violations, and inappropriate behavior, helping ensure that community standards are upheld at all times.

You’ll thrive in this role if you’re detail-oriented, emotionally resilient, and motivated by meaningful work that contributes to a safer digital environment.

Important Notice – Content Exposure

This role involves frequent exposure to sensitive and potentially disturbing content, including explicit material, graphic language, and reports related to harassment, abuse, or fraud.

While Crescendo provides full training, clear guidelines, and ongoing support, it’s important that you feel prepared to handle this type of content with professionalism and objectivity.

What You’ll Do:

  • Handle a high volume of Safety & Compliance cases via email with empathy and efficiency
  • Review and respond to user reports in line with internal policies and safety standards
  • Make accurate, consistent decisions in time-sensitive situations
  • Manage a continuous case queue while meeting productivity and quality targets
  • Escalate high-risk or complex cases when needed
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism at all times
  • Collaborate with Trust & Safety, Compliance, and Quality teams
  • Apply cultural awareness and sensitivity, supporting inclusive and respectful online spaces

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong written communication skills with a calm, objective tone
  • Comfortable working within structured guidelines and policies
  • High level of emotional resilience and professionalism
  • Strong attention to detail and sound decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team
  • Willingness to learn and apply moderation and compliance standards
  • A genuine commitment to maintaining safe and inclusive online communities

What You’ll Get In Return:

  • A people-first culture where your growth actually matters
  • The opportunity to work with global brands and diverse teams
  • Hybrid work flexibility
  • Competitive salary and generous paid time off
  • Comprehensive health benefits (medical, dental, vision)
  • Access to wellness programs, including at-home fitness resources
  • Ongoing training and career development opportunities
